K9 First Aid Kit

1) Scissors. Trim hair to treat wounds. Cut bandage materials.
2) Tweezers. Remove debris from wounds, pull slivers, and remove foreign bodies from eye.
3) Flash light. You want good light to look at eye injuries, test pupil reflexes, and work in dark.
4) Eye wash. To remove chemicals and weed seeds from eye.
5) Disinfectant. To cleans wounds and equipment.
6) Antibiotic eye salve. To treat eye injuries and infections.
7) Styptic powder. To stop bleeding on toe nail injuries.
8) Gauze and bandages. To cleanse & cover wounds and pad splints.
9) Coban. Very handy bandage a wrap material.
10)Antibiotic salve. To prevent infection in wounds.
11)Thermometer. Check for shock-low temp.< 100 and Hyperthermia-....high temp. > 103
12)Q-tips. To clean wounds and remove debris from eyes and ears
13)Electrolytes. To re-hydrate, treat diarrhea, replenish system.
14)Sx. Or latex gloves. To keep your hands clean and decrease wound contamination from your hands.
